Imaging Deputy

About the Role

A private diagnostic imaging provider in Sussex is seeking an experienced Deputy Imaging Lead on an interim basis. This is an urgent, hands-on deputy leadership role at a busy fixed-site imaging centre.

Working as second-in-command to the Group Operations Manager, you will help keep the CT and MRI service running smoothly and be the senior presence on site day to day, supporting the team, liaising with clinical staff, engineers and patients, and troubleshooting to keep the service on track.

The role is offered on an interim basis, either as a locum or a fixed-term contract, with an initial four-month term. There is genuine scope for extension and the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to the Group Operations Manager
• Act as the senior presence on site, keeping the imaging service running smoothly
• Support and coordinate the imaging team
• Liaise with clinical staff, engineers and patients
• Troubleshoot operational issues and problem-solve to keep the service on track
• Help maintain safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery
• Escalate and resolve issues with senior support as required

What We're Looking For

• Experienced senior, deputy or superintendent-level imaging professional
• Confident leading on the ground in a busy environment
• Strong organisational and people-management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
• Available at short notice for an interim start
• Clinical skills in CT or MRI (desirable)
