MRI Radiographer

About the Role

A private healthcare provider in London is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join its diagnostic imaging team. The organisation delivers outpatient and diagnostic services across a range of clinical specialties, supported by a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and clinicians alongside modern, high-specification imaging facilities.

The service is built around accurate, timely diagnosis and a personalised patient pathway from referral through to results. The successful candidate will help deliver high-quality imaging in a professional, efficient and compassionate environment where patient experience is the priority.

This role reports to the Imaging Manager and works as part of the wider interprofessional team

Key Responsibilities

• Degree in Diagnostic Imaging
• HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council)
• MRI and/or CT trained
• Some cardiac MRI experience is desirable and will make for a stronger candidate, but full training can be provided for the right applicant
• Experience working within an imaging department, ideally MRI
• High level of understanding of clinical governance and protocols
• Up-to-date, evidence-based clinical knowledge that reflects national best-practice standards
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure in a busy environment
• Computer literate and proficient with clinical software and systems
• Customer-oriented, proactive team player
• Desirable: cardiac CT and cardiac MRI, SOR-approved injection qualification, plain film and fluoroscopy competence with a DR system, and experience in a comparable private or NHS healthcare setting

The Description and Responsibilities still mention cardiac imaging as part of the role, which is fine — just no longer gated as a hard requirement.
