Field Service Engineer, MRI

About the Role

A leading medical imaging manufacturer is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair MRI systems across the Midlands. You will be responsible for planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability for customers across the region.

This is a hands-on technical role for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving in the field and building trusted relationships with clinical customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on MRI systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and software faults
• Maximise system uptime and respond to breakdowns promptly
• Build strong working relationships with on-site clinical teams
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
• Support installations and system upgrades as required

What We're Looking For

• Electronics, electrical or biomedical engineering qualification
• Field service experience, ideally on medical or complex capital equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Customer-focused and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call rota
